Siegfried lives in San Diego,
California. Starting from just after the same time we visited
Tijuana, Joel also began a series of travels there, along with his friends
(Jim, Alan, Sandra, and another Joel). But where we spent only
a couple of hours seeing just the (poorly) glazed surface
of Tijuana, Joel has had some wonderful times exploring many different faces
of this large and varied community. He shares those experiences in the

Joel's fascinating narratives of his travels paint a vivid picture of an exciting and wonderous place, and I strongly recommend that you visit them. After traveling vicariously with Joel and his friends, I would very much love to visit Tijuana again. I only wish these pages had been available before we planned our trip.
