FROM THE MOUNTAINS TO THE SEA

In 1991, John and Linda Lipman took a round-circle vacation, driving south through the mountains of Virginia, then turning east through North Carolina tobacco country, ending up at the southern end of North Carolina's Outer Bank islands. We then drove north across the barrier islands to the historic (and modern) playgrounds of Virginia. We then took a look into space travel as we headed home across the Chesapeake shoreline.

The material for this website has been sitting in a scrapbook all these years, seen by no one. While fighting the flu one week in the winter of 1998, I decided to finally make a series of web pages so that others can enjoy our trip. To the best of my knowledge, all of these things are still there.
